Erasmus+ InfoDay: opportunities in the fields of education, youth and sports for newcomers (19.12.2023, online)

Within European Year of Skills 2023 on 19 December 2023 National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, Office Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, National Qualifications Agency, Info Centre for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps in Ukraine and other partners held Erasmus+ InfoDay: opportunities in the fields of education, youth and sports for newcomers.

More than 200 participants from different regions of Ukraine joined the event: representatives of all types of organisations (state, public, private), working in the field of education, youth and sports.

PRESENTATIONS of the event.

The participants were welcomed by Vira RYBAK, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine; Taras HOLUB, Advisor to Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine; Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine; Andriy CHESNOKOV, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports of Ukraine for European Integration; Andrii BUTENKO; Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education; Yurii BALANIUK, Head of the National Qualifications Agency.

During the first session of the event Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented the first steps of participation in the Programme for new organisations, in particular, the main document – Programme Guide, key portals for partner and call search, analysis of institutional capacity and existing experience, development of the project idea, etc.

During the second session of the event on open opportunities for Ukraine in the field of education Svitlana SHYTIKOVA presented the key actions on academic mobility, cooperation projects and European studies in the field of vocational education and training, higher education and adult education.

During the next session of the event Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Manager of National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented open opportunities for Ukraine in the fields of youth and sports. Speaker highlighted opportunities for youth and youth workers mobilities, as well as new calls on capacity building and cooperation projects opened for Ukraine.

At the end of the event, the speakers provided clear recommendations on the first steps of participation in the Erasmus+ Programme for newcomers and provided individual consultations.
